Privacy policy
Last updated 30 August 2026
This policy explains what WM Live collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it. It applies to the WM Live mobile app and this website.
1. Who we are
WM Live is operated by WM Live. If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to wmvoicesupport@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Account details. To create an account we need one way to identify you: an email address, a phone number, or a Google account. If you sign in with Google we receive your Google account identifier, email address and profile photo — we do not receive your Google password.
Profile details. Whatever you choose to add: display name, username, profile photo, cover image, bio, gender, date of birth and country. Your date of birth is used to derive an age; the date itself is never shown publicly.
Activity in the app. The rooms you join, the seats you take, gifts you send and receive, items you buy, and your standing on the charm and wealth ladders. Direct messages you send are stored so they can be delivered and shown again later. Messages in a live room are not kept after the room ends.
Payments. Purchases of coins are handled by the app store or payment provider you buy through. We receive a record that a purchase happened and the amount, and we keep a ledger of every coin and diamond movement on your account. We never receive or store your card number.
Technical information. The usual server records: IP address, device and app version, and the time of a request. These are used to keep the service running and to investigate abuse.
3. Voice and live audio
Audio in a room is carried live to the other people in that room and is not recorded or stored by us. We keep no copy of what is said. What we do keep is the fact that you joined a room and when, because a room has to know who is in it.
4. What is public
Some of what you give us is meant to be seen. Anyone using the app can see:
- Your display name, username, public ID, profile photo and cover image.
- Your bio, country, gender and age, if you have set them.
- Your charm and wealth levels, and any badges, frames or other items you are wearing.
- That you are in a particular room, and gifts you send or receive there.
Your email address, phone number and date of birth are never shown to other users.
5. Why we use it
- To run the service — signing you in, putting you in rooms, delivering messages and moving coins and diamonds.
- To keep the service safe — investigating reports, enforcing our guidelines, and detecting fraud or abuse of the economy.
- To answer you when you contact support.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations, which is why financial records outlive an account.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
6. Who we share it with
Only the providers the service actually needs, and only what each of them needs:
- Our voice provider, which carries live audio between people in a room.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
- Our games partner. When you open a game inside the app we pass your public ID, display name and profile photo so the game can show you to the other players, along with a temporary token scoped to that session. Your email address, phone number and password are never shared.
- Our hosting and email providers, which store the data and send account emails such as verification codes.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone’s safety.
7. How long we keep it
Your account data is kept while your account exists. When an account is deleted we remove your profile and personal details — see the account deletion page.
Records of money — coin purchases, diamond payouts and withdrawal requests — are kept for as long as accounting and anti-fraud law requires, even after an account is deleted. Those records are held against the transaction rather than against a live profile.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Most of it you can change yourself in the app. For anything else, write to wmvoicesupport@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain processing, or to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
WM Live is not for children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger we close it and delete the data associated with it.
10. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects you we will tell you.
11. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
