Community guidelines
Last updated 30 August 2026
WM Live is a place people come to talk. These are the rules that keep it worth coming back to. They apply everywhere in the app — in rooms, in direct messages, and on your profile.
Treat people well
Disagreeing is fine. Making somebody’s day worse on purpose is not. We remove accounts for:
- Harassment, threats, or following somebody from room to room to bother them.
- Attacks on people for their race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
- Sharing somebody else’s private information — their address, their phone number, their photos — without their permission.
- Encouraging anybody to hurt themselves.
Keep it lawful
- No sexual content involving minors, ever. This is reported to the authorities as well as removed.
- No selling or promoting drugs, weapons, stolen goods or counterfeit items.
- No gambling operations run through the app, and no using gifts to settle bets.
- Nothing that breaks the law where you or the people listening are.
Keep it appropriate
Rooms are public places and people arrive without warning. No nudity or sexual content in a room, on a profile photo, or in a room cover. Adult conversation between adults is a matter of judgement; explicit content is not allowed.
Be yourself
- Do not pretend to be somebody else, or to represent a company or an official body you have nothing to do with.
- Do not use somebody else’s photos as your own.
- One account per person. Extra accounts made to get around a ban are removed as well.
Do not game the economy
Gifts are meant to be a real thing between real people. What we act on:
- Arrangements to send gifts back and forth to convert coins into a withdrawal.
- Buying coins with a stolen card, or charging back a purchase after spending it.
- Selling or trading accounts, coins, diamonds or items outside the app.
- Using bots, modified builds, or anything that automates activity.
Diamonds earned this way are removed, and the accounts involved are closed.
If you host a room
A room takes its tone from whoever runs it. Hosts and their moderators can mute somebody, take them off a seat, remove them from the room, or block them from coming back — and are expected to use those tools rather than let a room turn hostile. Consistently letting a room break these rules can cost you the room.
Reporting
If something in a room needs dealing with immediately, tell the host — they can act on the spot. For anything serious, or anything a host is part of, write to wmvoicesupport@gmail.com. Include the room and the user ID if you have them. A person reads every report.
What happens when a rule is broken
Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before, we may remove the content, mute or remove the account from a room, suspend it for a period, or close it permanently. Serious harm — anything involving minors, credible threats, or fraud — skips straight to closure.
If you think we have got it wrong, write to us and we will look again.
